Everything you need to know

What is W Analytics?

W Analytics is a market intelligence terminal for active traders. It’s built around the Kellan Projection (%K), which charts where price is likely headed and when it’s likely to turn, and a daily Net Bias call that says how much S&P 500 exposure to carry. It also includes a morning AI market brief, an AI copilot, trade setups, a watchlist and off-screen alerts.

What is the Kellan Projection (%K)?

The Kellan Projection (%K) is W Analytics’ proprietary projection method, developed by Kellan Williams over the past eleven years and named for him. It fits each market’s own rhythm and draws the path ahead directly over price, with projected peak and trough timing and two bands: an expected range and an outer extreme. It is unrelated to the %K line of the stochastic oscillator.

How far ahead does the Kellan Projection look?

Roughly six months. Each market’s expected path is mapped weeks and months ahead, so you can plan around the next projected turn rather than react to the last bar.

Which markets does it cover?

The Kellan Projection loads automatically for twelve core markets: the S&P 500, Nasdaq, Dow, Russell 2000, semiconductors, VIX, gold, crude oil, the dollar, the euro, long-term Treasuries (TLT) and Bitcoin. It also computes on demand for any liquid symbol with at least a year of history. The terminal covers equities, indices, FX, commodities and crypto.

What is Net Bias?

Net Bias is the daily exposure call. Each morning it sets a stance and a position size for the S&P 500, from fully in cash up to 1.6x, long-only, scaling exposure with conviction and volatility. The Kellan Projection is a core input.

How has Net Bias performed?

Walk-forward tested on the S&P 500 from June 2021 and tracked live since June 2, 2026, Net Bias returned +91.1% versus +82.8% for buy-and-hold, with a 1.05 Sharpe ratio versus 0.79 and a −15.2% worst drawdown versus −26.7% (43% shallower). Results are before costs, and the replay before June 2, 2026 is simulated. The full record, including the years it lagged, is on the track record page.

Is the track record live or backtested?

Both, clearly separated. Sessions from June 1, 2021 through June 1, 2026 are a walk-forward replay that uses only data available at each morning’s open. Since June 2, 2026, results use the signal the terminal published in real time. Neither period comes from a brokerage account, and both are shown before costs.

How much does W Analytics cost?

$199 a month or $1,990 a year, with a 30-day free trial. Plans are billed through Stripe and you can cancel anytime; you keep access through the end of your billing period.

Do I need to install anything?

No. The terminal runs in any modern browser and can be installed as an app on desktop or phone for one-tap access. Watchlists and alerts sync to your account.

Can I use W Analytics inside TrendSpider?

Yes. The W Analytics Suite (the Kellan Projection, the daily Net Bias and tactical stance, a pre-market brief and a core-markets dashboard) and the W Analytics Mover Swings + CCI scanner are available in the TrendSpider Store. See W Analytics vs. TrendSpider.

Does it work with TradingView?

It runs alongside TradingView rather than inside it. Many traders keep TradingView for charting and use W Analytics for the forward path, the projected turn and the daily exposure call. See W Analytics vs. TradingView.

What does the AI copilot do?

It answers questions from the terminal’s own signals, projections and live quotes, not the open web. Each morning it also writes a plain-English market brief read against the economic calendar.

Is W Analytics investment advice?

No. W Analytics is a research and decision-support tool. Its signals, projections and backtests are informational, can be wrong and are not personalized investment advice. Markets involve risk of loss.

W Analytics is a research and decision-support tool, not investment advice. Net Bias results before June 2, 2026 are a simulated walk-forward replay; all results are shown before costs, and past results don’t guarantee future performance. Projections can be wrong.
