W Analytics vs. TradingView

TradingView is the charting platform most traders already use, with a huge library of community indicators and an AI Chart Copilot that helps interpret your charts. W Analytics adds what charts don’t: the Kellan Projection (%K) charts where price is likely headed and when it’s likely to turn, and a daily Net Bias call says how much exposure to carry, with a published track record. Most W Analytics users will keep TradingView too.

The gap

Descriptive → Predictive → Prescriptive

Most trading software describes what price has already done: charts, indicators, and increasingly an AI that reads those indicators back to you. W Analytics is built for the next step: where price is likely headed, when the turn is likely due, and how much exposure to carry.

Descriptive

Charts, indicators, scans and AI summaries of what already happened. TradingView leads this layer.

Predictive

A view of what might happen next, rarely committed to or measured.

Prescriptive

A forward path, the likely turn, and a daily exposure call with a public record. This is W Analytics.

What W Analytics adds

One terminal. The prescriptive layer.

The Kellan Projection (%K)

Charts the path price is likely to follow for any symbol, with projected peak and trough timing and target bands. W Analytics’ own method, developed over eleven years and unrelated to the stochastic oscillator’s %K.

Net Bias exposure call

One decision each morning: how much exposure to carry, from cash up to 1.6x, long-only.

AI copilot and morning brief

Answers from the terminal’s own signals and projections, not the open web, plus a plain-English brief every morning.

Off-screen alerts

Push and email alerts on stance flips, setups and projected turns, even with the terminal closed.

The proof

A track record you can audit

Net Bias is walk-forward tested on the S&P 500 back to June 2021, using only what was known at each morning’s open, and tracked live since June 2, 2026. Every session counts, including the years it lagged.

Fair comparison

Where TradingView is stronger, and how to use both

Where TradingView is stronger

  • Charts: the most complete charting and drawing toolkit most traders will use.
  • Community: a vast library of published indicators, strategies and trade ideas.
  • Free to start: a free plan, broad market coverage and broker connections.

Using both

TradingView shows you the chart; W Analytics tells you what the model expects next and what to do about it. Keep TradingView for charting and execution, and use W Analytics for the forward path, the projected turn and the daily Net Bias exposure call.

Questions

W Analytics vs. TradingView: common questions

Is W Analytics a TradingView alternative?

Not really a replacement. TradingView is a charting and community platform; W Analytics is a forward-looking model with a daily exposure call and a published track record. Most users keep TradingView for charting and add W Analytics for the forward view.

How is W Analytics different from TradingView’s AI Chart Copilot?

TradingView’s AI Chart Copilot helps interpret the chart and indicators you already have on screen. W Analytics’ copilot answers from its own forward model, the Kellan Projection (%K), and the Net Bias call, rather than reading standard indicators back to you.

Can I get the Kellan Projection inside TradingView?

Not today. The Kellan Projection (%K) and Net Bias run in the W Analytics Terminal, which works in any browser alongside your TradingView charts.
